• Three graduate programs in Applied Physics and Computer Science, Environmental Science, and Teaching.

• Student internships and research opportunities can be arranged with many local businesses, organizations, and research facilities such as the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility and NASA Langley Research Center. 

Location

• CNU is located in Newport News, VA, a moderate sized city that is part of a greater metropolitan area of over 1 million people including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Williamsburg. 
• Convenient access to multiple airports, a train station, and the U.S. interstate highway system make travel to our campus and within the U.S. easy.  
• First-rate shopping, beaches, amusement parks, historic sites and museums all within an hour drive.  Our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., is only three hours away.
