CNU Sails  International Undergraduate Freshman Requirements

If you are an international student (not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) applying as a first-time undergraduate student, please submit the following pieces of information to the Office of Admissions by April 1st for the fall semester, or October 1st for the spring semester.  

    • Completed application. You may apply online or download the printable paper form and mail it to the Office of Admissions.  The application fee is $45 and can be paid with credit card for the online application, or by U.S. bank acceptable check, money order or bank draft if applying with a paper application.
    • Secondary School Report Form and official copies of your secondary school transcript(s) and/or leaving certificate(s).  If these documents are not in English, please also include certified English translations.
    • Official scores from the SAT or ACT Results should be sent directly from the testing agency.  Our SAT code is 5128 and our ACT code is 4345.
    • Scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).  If English is not your native language, and your secondary school instruction was not in English, you must submit a TOEFL score of 530 or above on the paper-based test, a score of 71 or above for the internet-based test, or a score of 197 or above on the computer-based test. 
    • A Financial Resources StatementIf you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident please submit our Financial Resources Statement.  In addition, please attach any official bank statements or affidavits to show that you can afford to study in the United States.
