Enrollment Checklist--Complete before May 1, 2008

Plan to Attend |
| If you haven't already, we hope you'll say "yes" to the best four years of your life. To let us know that you wish to join the CNU family in the fall, simply complete the " Plan to Attend Form", or mail the card included with your original admission letter. Your "Plan to Attend" confirmation must be received no later than May 1, 2008. |

Submit Housing Request and Pay Housing Deposit | To reserve a residence hall space, you must complete the Housing Request Form and submit your $250 deposit before May 1, 2008. Please print three copies (one for your records), sign and return two copies of this Housing and Dining Services Contract Acceptance Form, along with your $250 housing deposit in the envelope mailed to you in your enrollment packet (or your own envelope). Freshmen and sophomores are required to reside in University housing unless you live with a parent or legal guardian in Gloucester County, Hampton, Isle of Wight County, James City County, Mathews County, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg or York County. 3 | Register For Setting Sail-- Orientation Program | Setting Sail, our new student orientation program, is mandatory for all first year students planning to attend CNU. You must choose one of the following programs : June 16-17, 19-20, 23-24, or 26-27. In two informative and fun-packed days, you'll meet future classmates, participate in exciting sessions on academic and student life, meet your faculty advisor and schedule your classes. Orientation continues with Welcome Week, a three-day University Academic Orientation program, which begins with Move-In on August 18 and August 19 and continues through August 25.. A one-time fee of $250 covers the costs for Setting Sail and Welcome Week. | 4 |
Financial Aid |
| If you wish to apply for need based financial aid you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Our priority deadline to receive your FAFSA information is March 1st. CNU's school code for the FAFSA is 003706. Return your award letter and notify CNU of all outside or private scholarships, grants or other aid. Learn more >>> |

Send Your Final High School Transcript |
| Your enrollment at CNU is contingent upon graduation and the successful completion of your current coursework. Ask your guidance counselor to send your final high school transcript. Your transcript must be received before the start of classes in the fall. |
2 | AP, IB, Cambridge and Dual Enrollment Credit | Send the results of your AP, IB and Cambridge examinations to the Office of the Registrar before the start of classes. Also, send official college transcripts (dual enrollment) if you would like to receive credit for a college level course taken while you were enrolled in high school. | 3 | Attend Setting Sail June 16-17, 19-20, 23-24, or 26-27 | 4 |

5 | Send Your Certificate of Immunization & Review Important Health Information | CNU is committed to the health and well-being of its students. In an effort to promote a healthy environment in which to live and learn, the University has created an immunization policy that incorporates the guidelines for immunizations set forth in the Code of Virginia, Section 23-7.5. If you haven't already, the Certificate of Immunization must be completed by a licensed health care professional and sent to the Office of the Registrar no later than August 1.
